Historic Properties Commission

MISSION

The Historic Properties Commission was created by Town Ordinance in 1991 for the purpose of preserving and protecting buildings, archaeological sites, landscapes and places of historic and cultural significance and their setting in Woodstock, recognizing them as landmarks in the history of the Town, State and Nation.

MEETING SCHEDULE

The full Historic Properties Commission meets monthly, usually on the fourth Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. See the Calendar navigation tab (above) for upcoming meetings. Special Subcommittee meetings are scheduled as needed. Agendas and minutes are available at the Town Hall and on this website. Meetings are open to the public.

MEMBERSHIP

This is a 5 member commission with 3 alternates appointed for five year terms. Vacancies are filled by the Selectmen for the unexpired portion of the term.
